Fethiye
The city of Fethiye on the Aegean Coast of Turkey, is a little over half an hour from Dalaman Airport which has direct international flights to many parts of Europe during the long summer season, and links to the World via a short flight to Istanbul during the Turkish winter.
It has a population of approximately 70,000, including a large permanent ex pat population. Its summer population is much higher attracted by the blue sea, the beaches and the many other attractions the area has to offer. It is estimated that nearly 750,000 British tourists visit Fethiye each year.
The city itself has a wonderful promenade with bars and restaurants but one of the highlights of a visit to Fethiye is a trip to the Fish Market where you can buy your fish from the stalls and have it cooked for a small charge in the surrounding restaurants.
Turkish medical care is excellent and the newly expanded Esnaf Hospital near the sea front is certainly no exception.
It has a proven track record in all treatments whether cosmetic or general surgery, a quality after care and links to comfortable accommodation for periods of convalescence.
Every patient coming from abroad for treatment at the Esnaf will be met at the airport, and all transport to and from the hospital and the return transfer to the airport will be professionally handled by their foreign, but English speaking, department.
